This trip back home is a fruitful one. I made a pretty big decision for the first time in my life: buying a house. Well, of course with the help of my parents. No doubt I have always been thinking of getting a house for quite a while, but it has been on the "thinking" level without any concrete action. 26-year-old soon will be, I guess it's about right time to get one now. Hopefully with my earning in the US currency I can pay a large chunk of the mortgage by the time I decided to leave the States. That's assuming I don't get laid-off in the coming 2 years, touch wood!
The materialization started with a casual visit to my relative house located at Sunway Bukit Gambier, directly opposite USM. It's a relatively new housing area, mainly with terrace and semi-d houses, clean and fresh environment built by a hill. Particularly I like the idea of 2 and half story terrace, which makes it look bigger. Growing up in 2-story house, a 3 level staircase is a real novelty.
Semi-detach would be awesome but that a bit far-fetched financially. My parents like the location as much as I do, without hesitation, we called up a few houses that were up for sales. Long story short, we are pretty much settle on house #83 right now. I am 1983, isn't that cool? There are more bank loan stuff to be done before I can really call it my home.

It could have been the most memorable day of my trip back home this time around, but it ended with a slight disappointment. Few days ago, i asked her out for a dinner tonight. Since then there's an anticipation, not like a great one, but enough to make me upbeat for days. She called off the dinner last minutes. She's sick. Well, I am not sad, I am just a little frustrated, a little sour like a kid being denied of sweets. Really, we are not that closed, in fact we are never closed. After all these years, I thought I treated her like any of my other friends. or Do I?
This MV carries no indication of my thought whatsover, but a little sentimental doesn't hurt right? The original version by "baby" is much better than victor's, don't you think so?
A day worth remembering indeed.
