That's my friend CBR 600. The other day during lunch time we rode to Milpitas Square for bubble tea. On the way back, I left the parking lot first but I saw him got his helmet on and pretty much set to go. After a while I didn't see him following me behind but there are a few traffic lights before entering 237 highway back to Marvell so I thought he got stopped on red light. I started to sense something amiss once I reached marvell parking structure. Mind you, my friend is known for crazy driving and it doesn't help that he is a new rider with powerfull 600cc sportbike. Bad thing did happen. He dropped his bike while he was turning out from parking lot at slow speed, a pretty common mistake that newbie made. He lifted up the bike by himself but ended up dropping on another side because it's too heavy, another common mistake made when lifting up bike. Luckily he didn't hurt himself and in fact the damage on his bike was barely noticeable. In MSF they taught us counterweighing during turns at slow speed, but since it's counter intuitive we don't really apply it. Guess I need to pay more attention next time.
Too many layoff recently in tech industry recently, seagate, motorola, oracle, google, amd just to name a few. AMD announced 10% salary cut on all employees so it sucks for my friends who work there, and at the same time glad that they didn't hire me last time:) Last friday circuit city declared bankrupcy, thus closing down all stores and eliminating 30,000 workers. All outlets go on liquidation.

As far as I remembered i only purchased once at Circuit city. Nonetheless, places like CC, bestbuy or frys are nice places to check out the real product before you buy it online. I bet 8 out of 10 did that, that's probably the reason why CC goes out of business. I checked out the store in Sunnyvale last saturday during liquidation sales, hoping to find some cheap bargain but to no avail. Online price is still more competitive. CompUSA went down when i just came to CA, now it's CC's turn. who is next?
