My father is diagnosed with warthin's tumor but thank god it's a benign tumor. Although it's relatively harmless, doctor recommends surgical removal which I think totally make sense. Here's the problem. My father is pretty stubborn and reluctant to go through the surgery. Every time i talk to him regarding this matter he will just shrug off, saying that it's not urgent and asking us not to worry about him. It seems like my sisters and mother persuasion don't work either. Can we not worry? who is to guarantee it won't go bad if left untreated?

I totally understand many people including myself, dread to see doctor, left alone the thought of going through surgery. It's perfectly normal. But one should also realize he is not alone, he has family members who are, in some cases, even more worried than he does. Sigh, one's stubborn attitude problem can be as serious as tumor itself. As a son or daughter, other than praying, what can you do to persuade your stubborn old man? Nag him nonstop? Tie him up and drag him to see doctor? I bet i am not the only one facing this kind of scenario. It happens in many families for sure.

I am heading to Grand Canyon for thanksgiving holiday. Hiking in national park is always fun. While i learn to treasure life more and more, some people just don't give a shit. Look what this guy did in grandcanyon:
Crazy people are everywhere.
