I am back in Penang after more than 1 year away. This time around I took China Airlines but sadly the flight was a bit old compared to other airlines and stewardess weren't so hot:) But you can't beat the price (900+ usd) and the overall short traveling time, i.e direct flight to Taipei, transiting for 2 hours and then direct to Penang.
