No doubt Bay Area is well-known for its imbalance male to female ratio, and hence the famous "Gay Area". Over lunch talk, a guy was being creative to come out with another term "Man Francisco". And notice that the Bay Area towns' name gets really funny when it's preceded by "Man":

San Francisco -> Man Francisco
San Jose -> Man Jose
Mountain View -> Man-tain View
Menlo Park -> Man-lo Park
Palo Alto -> Man-lo Alto
Santa Clara -> Man-ta Clara
Sunnyvale -> Man-nyvale
South Bay -> in chinese is it 南湾 or 男湾? lol
