After 1 week of riding, I am more comfortable with it, especially the leaning when doing a turn, as well as downshifting/releasing clutch to perform engine braking. Last weekend, i finally brought it on freeway 101 to San Mateo. As usual the traffic was going around 60-70 mph and my sv650 has no problem coping with it. In fact it can do better with just a flip of throttle but I am sane enough from doing that. In general, with all the protective gears and less crazy drivers on road, riding a motorcycle here in the US is relatively safer compared to riding one in Malaysia. Maybe I should invest in a riding pants and boots too.

I went to San Mateo for a friend's housewarming party. He is a graduate from MIT and I just got to know him not too long ago. Guess what, his wife was my Uitm classmate and graduated from MIT too. They already have a 2 year old son! It's obviously an accident. I mean, i never thought that would happen on highly educated, brilliant MIT students. Anyway, glad that they went through it already, and life is good now. Accident happens so always wear your protective gears while riding:)

US stocks continue to plummet like crazy. I used to be a short term investor, but right now I am kinda forced to go long. No way out unless I take some serious hit. I thought some of my entry points are low enough judging from historical price but apparently I am wrong. This is one hungry bear. Oh well, maybe I should just close my eyes now and hopefully 10 yrs later, I will be filthy rich, thankful that I bought those at low price today:) Don't laugh, it's possible!

I have recently become a fan of this not so popular HK singer Wilfred Lau 劉浩龍. He is as good as Eason Chan. And some of his songs just stick in my head, like this one:
