It's valentine's day, a love-it-or-hate-it occasion for most of the people. For those who are single, it's single-awareness day (SAD) which can be emotionally disturbing haha. On the other hand, for the lovey-dovey couples, this could easily be the biggest/sweetest day of the year, on which the BFs have to do something fancy else they risk being nagged by GFs for the rest of the February. Just joking:) Admittedly my present to her wasn't that special. I am just bad at gift idea. Dear, I promised i'll do better next time okie? ♥

I was reading the origin of Valentine's Day. People used to observe the day by giving cards/letters to their loves one but over time it becomes this extravagant-flower-chocolate-high-class-restaurant type of celebration. There's an article on guys staying away from Groupon Valentine's deal because gift with discounted price is deemed "low-class and insincere". Personally i think valentine's day, along with Christmas, are a little over-hyped materially these days.
