Spent a fun night at Jack's place playing the newly released Kinect. The latest motion-sensing platform by Microsoft is similar to Wii but better, only because it has a Marvell chip I worked on:) But seriously i think Kinect is quite distinguishable from Wii and Playstation Move. Instead of holding conventional controller in hands, your body controls the game as Kinect tracks your movement, be it jumping, running, dodging, dancing, living-room-smashing, you name it. And the new way of casual/party gaming was made possible by this:

Most of the stuff was designed by PrimeSense, a small start-up which was then acquired by Microsoft. The chip in pink color is by our group at work. Proud:)
