Andropause, or male menopause may well be one of the reasons for my previous post on why old men experiencing mood swing and be grumpy:)

This year alone I am inundated with 3 bad news of family members' health hazard, 2 with strokes, and 1 with TBI. Bad fengshui? A series of (very) unfortunate events we are talking about here.

My dad, although recovered physically, is suffering from Epilepsy which requires him to take medication in long term. Since Epilepsy is unpredictable, he cannot drive anymore and my mum has to constantly check on him to make sure he doesn't fall. Because of all this restriction, on top of the side effect of medication, he is emotionally stressed.

Grandma had minor stroke about 2 months ago. From what my mum told me, she is doing okie physically but her memory is deteriorating fast. At the age of 80 I think nothing much can be done on that. All I hope is she can live healthily and happily from now on. While my grandma is still recovering from her stroke, my 2nd aunty had one just last week. Who on earth would expect that to happen on an highly-active and healthy lady? 2nd Aunty doesn't even have high blood pressure to begin with. Apparently stroke risk is hereditary. She is still in hospital now. Unfortunately her case is more serious as compared to grandma's. It really hit her hard this time.

Stay strong. Tonight i pray for them.
