Welcome 2008. Holiday season is over. Everything resumes normal. But I am still feeling the excitement of holiday. 25 days more and I will be back home!
Again new year passes like nothing. No fireworks, no drunk, no crazy party. We were having countdown at a friend's home after a potluck dinner. But the atmosphere wasn't that good. Part of the reason might be the group was kinda big and we didn't know each other too well. Back home around 3 am after karaoke (again) and started calling a few friends back home. In fact, i enjoyed more talking on phones rather than hanging out with bunch of people that i am not too close with.
Reflecting 2007, i told my friend that i hardly achieve anything memorable. He said there is nothing to look back, instead we should focus on the future and more importantly, we survived 2007 and we are seeing 2008. That's true. So here it goes my #1 wish for 2008: my family and friends stay safe and healthy. Having said that, i really hope friends that smoke quit it ASAP. Nothing beats health. Anyway, 2007 was a good year in general. The only sad thing was that my beloved dog RIP. Losing a dog is a life lesson itself. As cliche as it sounds, life is short so appreciate your parents, siblings and friends. At the same times, have fun and live up your dreams!
Hardly remember what resolutions had been made in 2007. I was trying to look for last year entries but too bad I don't find any. Then I realized i have been keeping this little blog for almost 2.5 years. In fact, reading the old posts recalls much memories, and the words can be more vivid than pictures sometimes.
