Green day! rimm released a blasting earning. Basically did nothing at work today. The entire day i just kept refreshing my trading account page, watching the price. The price didn't change much during the day but when the announcement came out, the after-market price shot up 11 dollar to 119. It's certainly a christmas gift for myself after being beaten up by bear for last 2 months. Speaking of rimm, its blackberry smart-phone is powered by our cpu, but look at mrvl stock, it is not even encouraged by rimm strong sales? Extremely not fair i would say. Hardware companies always get the least profit, like a chip is sold for a few bucks but the software running on it can cost a hundred. I mean wth. We have higher entry and operating cost, but the product is sold cheap, while a piece of software code can sell for high price because of license, copy right etc. Nowadays hardware companies share are all under-performed compared to software giant like goog, aapl, vmware. Even we entry-level hardware engineers in silicon valley typically get paid 10k less than software engineer. Why.

Watched "i am legend" last sunday after a drinking session. Yeah drinking session in the sunday afternoon. It's definitely random but who cares. I was actually kinda tipsy when the movie started. Some parts got pretty intense. Man i like zombies! Funny to see a friend covered her ears for most part of the movie. I am definitely a horror movie freak. Sometime it's so hard to find ppl to watch horror movie together, and that's why i missed saw 4. Damn how can i miss that! Ideally, i should find a gf who likes to watch crazy horror movies and that would be awesome. Yeah you wish! i rarely see any girl that likes horror.
