These days most stocks got hit pretty bad. Marvell lingers around 10-ish. Even the ESPP is under water, not to mention the Stock option. Argh! I should have sold my ESPP just like my manager and locked in the 15% gain. But then there is no "should have" in stock market/gambling. It really looks like recession is hitting US now. Just that when i think it's low enough to get in, dow jones blows another 300 points today. I think dow jones should really changes its name to UP jones or something else to be more auspicious.
In view of bad financial status and low stock price, ceo sehat called for an employee meeting today. He probably want to boost the our morale. Yeah we have our marvell spirit which is to "get in work at 10, lunch at 12, nap at 2 in carpark, coffee break at 4, ping pong/gym at 6, dinner at 7". A day before he announced that his annual salary be reduced to $1 so as to show his commitment. My manager was saying it's his way of shutting up people who want salary raise. Indeed Marvell's pay is below industry standard so it's not surprised that many people in my group have left. Our verification manager is leaving this week and it looks like there will be no more verification team. Seriously there is really something wrong with the way our VP handling the group. A healthy organization shouldn't have this many people leaving. All the experienced engineer are quiting and the ones left are mostly fresh graduates like me who know shit. Anyway these days I am actually quite free at work, at times i really feel bad about this. I felt stupid when being idle. My boss actually asked me to go on a business trip, guess what it's in Israel. I was like "fuck"! Why of all the places but Israel? Why can't malaysia passport enters isreal god damn it.
Another note, I went Tahoe for skiing last weekend with some hongkies and taiwanese. First day to Squaw valley and second day to heavenly which is the biggest and nicest ski resort in Tahoe. Seven spring in Pittsburgh is just too pathetic to compare with. But of cause Tahoe resorts cost much more, probably double the price of pittsburgh's. In terms of skiing skill I am capable of doing Blue trails but definitely need some more practice before taking on Black. The problem is I only ski like once every winter so I don't think it's easy to move up another level. Since I am no pro and a little scared of the downhill speed, i tend to brake a lot, which requires much strength. So in the end of 2 day skiing I was damn tired. It was fun nonetheless. I wouldn't mind doing it more but it's actually an expensive hobby if i were to buy all the gears, the lift tickets, transportation, lodging etc.

Oh my god! Super hot! But but but damn... s/he is like the hottest trans in thailand according to news. Seriously i think some people wouldn't mind banging he/r.
