Company is going to cmu TOC recruiting event this September. They sent out email asking alumni to join the career fair, i signed up within second. That probably means 2-3 days of free trip back to Pittsburgh, which means I don't need to work. How great! I think i can get a lot more freebies by just going around TOC and asking from friends that came back for recruiting:)

Currently the whole cpu team is working full force 1 chip that's going to be tapped out in 2-3 months time, mainly for OLPC use. Btw, I still couldn't see an ARM processor as a good fit for a full-fledged CPU product. It's gonna be hard to compete with X86 processor, but it looks like the company is betting our whole team on this chip.

Donated blood for the third time in Marvell. A little bit sense of achievement I can feel. This time around, they said i have high iron or high red cell count, like 46%. I have totally no idea what it means. This makes me a good candidate for donating doubly amount of red cell. It took about 30 minute but this time they only took the red cell and feedback the plasma to me. It's kind of weird as I felt the yellowish fluid injecting back to my body. Anyway, I am wondering if high red cell count will do me any bad.

Bowl a137 yesterday. I think that's about the score of an average bowler:) Probably should learn about throwing curve ball once i can consistently maintain a 130-ish score. Then, for random reason i was playing basketball with my roommate. Basketball is definitely not a game for me, although at one time back in high school I was quite keen of it. My roommate is a basketball player, and i concluded that in general HK ppl are good at basketball. Bowling, basketball, tennis, wall climbing, gym, what an active life these days! Too bad i am master of none, not even sure if i can play squash well anymore.
