Our group "infamous" VP relocated to Taiwan. Yeah there's no more yelling. Rumor has it that he has been demoted (or fired) by the CEO. Oh well, someone has to go down for all the over-promises and under-delivers. Was it a management mishap or engineers' incompetence? As much as i want to put the blame on management, i am questioning if all of us in the team pulled enough weight all these while.

The CEO himself is overseeing the team's operation now therefore the pressure is still on. The survival of this group pretty much hinges on our current project. If we still fail to deliver, I won't be surprised to see the team disintegrated. Though I am leaving this company in 3 months and the future of this group is none of my business, I still hope to finish my current work, or at least make it to point where it's usable for the future development. I hate seeing effort wasted, for the same reason I hope this team will somehow deliver something. That will make me proud.
