Read in dismay that Malaysia's H1N1 situation tops the WHO's watchlist. It just shows how capable our country in handling emergency like this. Although we are no where being a developed country, can't we do better than, say Indonesia? When I was home early July, everyone was wary of someone from the US, and merely 2-month later it's another way round. Malaysia Boleh and Happy Merdeka!
The fact that I am not happy with it simply means I still care alot about Malaysia. Next monday is the US labor day, which means a long weekend ahead. A few of us malaysians were busy asking each others' plan on the labor day weekend. None of us care to mention about our national day, let alone celebration. How irony.

Anyhow MSN Bing is kind enough to feature Langkawi on its front page in recognition of our national day. Stuff like this makes me happy, not news like "Muslim model to be flogged in Malaysia for drinking beer". I am not against muslim law, but it was embarassing the other day my manager asked me about the news. Apparently it was heavily covered on google news. On a different note, because of Microsoft bing's cashback, i go back to Bing often these days. Money talks undeniably.

Have been attending way too many birthday dinner/party these days to an extent that i feel tired about it. Well, the positive way to think about this, I have many friends that thought about me. Nonetheless, it was a little bit different last saturday. It was not my friend's birthday, but her kid's.
Say Hi and Happy 3rd birthday to YanYan! I was addressing myself as "Koko" while playing with him. My friend quickly corrected me, "not koko, you are uncle now", she said. I thought attending friends wedding would remind us how time flies. Think again when you attend your friend's kid's birthday:) YanYan's mum is my friend from UiTM who went to MIT. YanYan's father is also from MIT. That just tells me YanYan is one smart kid. Another friend jokingly asked them when the 2nd kid comes. Frankly, few years ago we were doubtful when we heard about them getting married at such early age. Now seeing a them as a happy family, i thought it's not bad at all to marry young.
Check out this cool video taken in Seattle, in honor of MJ's birthday. Man, the dude at minute 1.51 is way too cool, smoking casually while walking away after the mob dance.
Feel like doing some dance? Certainly I am, only if I know how to. When i was a kid, for some reason, I always thought dancing/singing/music stuff was girly stuff. That might be the reason why I didn't learn all these. How wrong! I don't care, apart from swimming and music, I gonna make my kids dance too:)
