- Happy Birthday My dearest GF. My promises to you are not 安南割耳.
- Also the day I voted for the first time. Spirit was high until blackout happened during vote counting. Sadly the newly-coined idiom 安南割耳 doesn't stand anymore after that. To be flank, I have always been pessimistic about PR winning this election and forming new government despite the impressive ceramah held pre-election. I am sad nevertheless. I am not entirely sure if dirty tactic were used to influence the final vote counting, as what we have read from FB cannot be trusted 100%. I do believe project IC has already done huge damage to democracy in our country. Although PR lost the majority, it definitely sent strong message to BN and its cronies that normal rakyats are not as gullible as you think. The spirit of true democracy must live on and two-party system will need to take place sooner or later, and it will (i believe).
I didn't get to witness the spirit of 308 but glad that the spirit of 505 itself didn't disappoint me. I think PR, especially DAP has done us proud. As much as I wish, the road to have a true democracy and corruption-free government cannot be done overnight.
I pledge that I will never bribe a police man if i ever get caught for violating traffic rule. Anyone who are in for clean government should never bribe, even a small amount. Now the election result is done deal, lets start the democracy by doing our bits.
