Every day we whine about stuff that we will never stop whining about, money, job, relationship, just to name a few. Often time we forgot how fortunate we are, and unnecessarily making happiness in life harder to attain than it should be. Perhaps seeing how unlucky some are in another part of the world would make us appreciate what we have.

Last friday I was invited by YL to a charity lunch by OWCF. YL is one down to earth person with huge passion in charity, not only monetarily but also with sheer physical contribution too. His voluntary work at Darfur never fails to inspire people to follow suit and contribute their part. Upon his invitation i could not find a reason not to go. Back to the luncheon, apart from being a fund raising event, it showcased what the organization does through video presentation. Maybe it's their tactic to earn sympathy from donors, the presentation showed some very pathetic environments of many children who are deprived of the basic needs and education in the third world countries. The luncheon was literally food for thought. I am a hundred dollar poorer, but definitely happier.

Got a chance to ride in Prius. The dashboard is certainly fancy:)
