You had a bad day. Distraught, you lost your cool, wondering why bad things happened on you. Little do you know that it could have been worse, and maybe you should keep your mouth shut and face it optimistically.
I rushed back to Penang about a month ago because of my dad's emergency. I thought it sucks. A few days later, an indian colleague of mine, who sit just 2 aisle away from me, rush back to India because of his dad had an emergency too. While in india, my hapless colleague had a car accident, broke his pelvis and left leg, underwent operation and stayed in ICU. Last I heard his father passed away already. Can you imagine how stressful his family is? Dang! it sucks 100x more. I guess we won't be seeing him for some time. DJ, wishing you a speedy recovery!
Speaking of car accident, the damage it brought upon the victim as well as victim's family members can be abysmal. I have talked to 2 such families while looking after my dad in the hospital. Spend enough time around the hospital ward and you'll know what i mean. It's that scary. Consequently I have pretty much made the decision of selling of my SV650. Don't be too sad okie?:)
melodramatic but definitely a good one:
