Checked out the squash court. To my dismay it costs 400+ for a 6-month membership, which is as expensive as car insurance. On the other hand, i got my tennis racket and played with a friend who is also a beginner. It's not as hard as I think, or maybe because I am playing against a beginner too. And the best thing is, tennis court is free of charge! People were saying that playing tennis will screw up your squash or badminton skill, as the way hitting the ball is kinda different. Right now I am thinking twice of paying the 400 bucks. Hmm... maybe save that money for motorcycle? Coz I am sure insurance for motorcycle is high.
Donated my blood on a blood drive event in company. The first time I did it was in UiTM and that's because of my roommate who studied medicine asked me to do so. The first experience is very important. For me I don't remember it hurt so I am doing it the 2nd time. And I will do it again in the future. Lesson of the day: first impression/experience is crucial. Got a friend who doesn't like to eat mexican food. Yesterday somehow we were eating at a shitty mexican restaurant. I guess this friend of mine will never ever step in mexican restaurant again. Personally I like it because it's cheap:)
H1B approved! I got lucky this time. Besides, I just passed a traffic written test to change my PA-issued driving license to CA's one. The night before I actually studied the traffic rules booklet thing. I can't believe the center doesn't have a computer-based exam, which means the lady at the counter have to mark my answers. So in the end I got one wrong out of thirty plus question. She was kind of impressed and asked me, "are you doctor or lawyer?" It was really funny when she said that. People seem to think that only doctor and lawyer are the clever ones. How about engineers? But really, when you are not sure what's the answer for a multiple choice question, choose the one with longest answer. It always works.
