woohoo, holiday is so good. 12 hour of sleep a day is not expensive at all. But then the day become so short that it passes so fast. Currently I am still waiting for my working permit, hopefully real soon. Tentatively I am booking ticket back home on 11th Jan.
I went to Buffalo New York just before Christmas to visit a high school friend. On the way i got my first speeding ticket in the US. I thought the cops were on christmas holiday but apparently I was wrong. I admit that I speed on every road trip throughout these years, i guess i just have to take the lesson this time. The police car put on siren and pull me to the side. I haven't dealt with cops in malaysia but luckily that cop didn't threaten me for money or anything. well, 200 dollar fine just came in today. Hopefully that doesn't increase my car insurance rate. Anyway, the buffalo trip was lotsa fun. Talking about the good old days, poker, alcohol, strip club?? I am surprised to meet many ppl from penang there.
Moved out from my apartment. Almost all the stuff already shipped to california and surprisingly it doesn't cost that much. Pittsburgh is just dead without students around. This 2007 new year I just stayed home, eating ramen and watching movie alone. Sad rite? Haven't actually think of any new year resolution. I can't even remember last year's ones too. Anyway 2006 was a remarkable one. It marks the end of my academic years (forever?) and hopefully a good beginning of my working life. Say a man can live to 80, then I already spent my first quarter of life studying. Enough now, I don't foresee myself spend another 5 years for phd.
2000 I graduated from high school, 2002 Christmas I came to the States, 2006 christmas graduated, so what's next? Recently just watched an old movie called "butterfly effect". The guy could time travel to the past by reading his dairy. If such thing exists at least I can revert to when i started my blog. But up to this point, I guess I pretty much did the "correct" things. If you were to go back to the past, what's the "thing" that you wish to change?
