The other day I asked a friend if he wants to donate blood together. He said he is thin and doesn't have that much blood to donate. He rather donates money. Yesterday he told me that he donated the money that he plans to use to buy PS3. That's about $600. $600 might or might not be a lot. But I salute his willingness to sacrifice his own interest for good cause. I am pround of him.

So tonight there is gonna be a student-organized club party and it says all proceeds go towards the salvation army. But I pretty sure that the proceeds wound have to minus all the club floor rent, bus rent etc and the remaining amount will be the donation. It probably cost about a thousand to book the club and a few hundreds for the bus. How nice it will be if we can just donate the money that we use for clubbing, if we are willing to sacrifice? just imagine the money spent on alcohol. Initially I thought I wanna party tonight too, but I should think twice.

i went clubbing last night. First and probably the last clubbing for my last semester in CMU, if I don't go tonight:) I used to go with bunch of friends who mostly graduated. So this time around I went to the dance floor and all the faces look new and young. All the seniors are gone. So it wasn't as fun as before. You approach a girl and ask her what year she is. She said freshman, and you said I am a senior (don't even dare to say I am finishing my master). It's just a turn off.
