Awesome movie. Definitely one of the best that I have seen this year. Personally I rate it as good as, if not better than X-Men First Class. I still vaguely remember the 2001 movie Planet of the Apes, in which the apes are human in monkey suits. 10 year later, thanks to the advancement of CG, we are seeing pretty real apes vandalizing SF golden gate bridge. The CG is so real that I am eager to see what other improvements can be done if there's another ape coming in 2021.

And the golden gate bridge,  Muir Wood park, Twin Peaks... oh my memory. It's fun to see movies that were made at places that you are familiar with.
