My first and probably last Bay to Breakers run. It's 100th Anniversary so the organizer threw in finisher medal. Here is the history of Bay to Breakers.  It was initiated to lift up the spirit of San Francisco city following a disastrous earthquake in 1906.

This year the total participants was estimated at 100k. The run has always been made famous because of the creative costumes by participants. For some going naked is the only way to show their love for the city. Sadly 90% of the daring ones are normally old dudes so it could be quite an eyesore. Having said that i managed to see some nice view during the run:)

The run was extremely fun. Given the cool people and the culture SF carries, I can definitely see why this city is consistently voted as one of the best city to live in. Even if the next big earthquake comes and creates some huge damage (touch wood), I am sure its people will be able to embrace it for the sake of running the next Bay to Breakers. Long live SF!

Last but not least, the best costumes goes to this "Laundry Bag Man".
