working day passes quickly, day by day and it's weekend again. It's already the 3rd weekend in SD but haven't really gone around. Plans in mind for coming weekends: going to LA, six flags, visiting one national park and skydiving (since i cant do diving:) ... Let's see who will chicken out the last minute.
Downloaded tons of movies and watched MI and MI-2. I watched both of them before. MI-1 is just boring. I couldn't understand the first time i watched it, it was probably form 1 or so. And i still cant understand what they speak even now. Something wrong with my english must be. There are scenes in MI-2 where we laughed so hard. It shows a "advance" digital camera with 32 mb memory card!! Arr... technology advances so fast. Next: underworld and underworld 2. I am just out of date in watching movies.
World cup... argh I don't have a tv at home but matches are in the morning and i need to work anyway. But google does a good job on showing live result, plus all the soccer videos that are just amazing.
Working wise i have to deal with lots of vhdl code (verilog definitely better) and writing test programs in vera by synopsys. registered for a 1-week vera course and it costs 2000 usd. That is crazily expensive, of coz the company paying for it. btw, i am glad that ece at cmu prepares me well with all the tools. It's just funny seeing ppl struggling with vi editor.
