geeky morning

Had a geeky CS class early morning. It stirs my mind. I can't understand the material at all and I seriously hate the feeling of being blur... lex and yacc, anyone? even the names sounds so weird... yacc == yet another compiler compiler? wth man... and I went to computer cluster right after class to find out more about it... yeah, a hardworking me as usual:) Incidentally there was a freshmen computer workshop i.e. on-campus computing tutorial kind of thing going on. The is my first time sitting with bunch of freshmen around me since the beginning of the semester. Yep, they are young, mostly 18 yrs old. Time flies man... I was sitting like them 3 years ago... Soon the instructor started throwing out basic unix command to them ls, pwd, echo, fs la, ftp bla bla bla... yeah, i am sure some of them will be like wtf... yeap, i was one before. Conclusion: This univ is for geeks, they show no mercy to freshmen, regardless your major...

Had great evening playing squash with friends...
